We recently discovered Squid through a KEXP video. We often check ohmyrockness for upcoming show listings to cover, so once Squid popped up we knew we had to be there. Hailing from Brighton England, Squid consists of five members, five members who have what I imagine to have some of the most musically creative minds. When writing songs, they all write separately then toss all of their ideas together. The result of this is sporadic, loud, organized chaos taking you through peaks and valleys of tempos, moods and just overall sounds. It's hard to explain, but please give them a listen and definitely drop into a show if they're headed your way.
