Photos: Sleigh Bells at Webster Hall

Without doubt, the hardest show I've ever shot. Constant strobes flashing during the first three songs, nearly impossible to hit focus or catch proper light, but I guess that sort of energy is to be expected when you catch a Sleigh Bells show. They're a band who has been in my catalog since 2010 when they released Treats. Something about their sound had me hooked immediately, sure it's loud, but it's also energetic and in a way inspiring. You could tell that Alexis (lead / vocals) was psyched to be back out performing - she brought the smiles along with her energy. Has certainly not missed a step. They're kicking off a tour in October to celebrate the release of their album Texis - if they're stopping in your city, I highly suggest checking scooping up a ticket.
